It’s quite straight forward to choose a main staircase in your home but, if you need a staircase to access your loft area, then you are often faced with restrictions on the amount of space available. There are three types of staircases which might suit your loft access project – spiral staircase, linear staircase or a compact spacesaving staircase, all depending on the area you have available on the lower floor and also the space you have available for the opening in the upper floor.
