Linear Staircases

Staircases with a more traditional layout, such as a straight flight or with one or two turns, are called linear staircases (as opposed to spiral staircases). The linear staircases which feature on DesignerStairs.com are also modular staircases because of their design, construction and installation features. Each tread is supported by a central spine section which connects to the next section and builds up into a complete staircase. The clever design of these modular staircases also allow a huge variation of shapes or configurations. By dropping in the three treads, which form a quarter turn, wherever you want it means that you can build a straight staircase, an L shape or a U shape – and there are 152 layout options from each staircase model!

There is a stack of information on the linear staircases in our online store TheStaircasePeople.co.uk to show you, not just the beautiful styles, but also the details of the different shapes you can build. There are clear diagrams to show you how to choose your staircase shape and what dimensions you will need. The linear staircases all have clear, easy to understand instructions to guide you through your installation. And, of course, if you have any questions or would like further advice, you can always call us on 01380 727518.
